Essex Manor House Wedding
Theobalds House – Essex’s wedding photographer
I had been waiting for such a long time to get the chance to work on an Essex Manor House wedding so when Danielle and Luke got in touch and said their venue was the beautiful Theobalds House I was so excited. There are so many amazing Manor House style wedding venues in Essex but Theobalds is one of the best. It has the stunning architecture that comes with most stately homes but it also has beautiful mosaic floors, embellished ceilings and an array of gardens and landscapes that is just a photographers dream.
I met Danielle and Luke there for their pre-wedding photography session, it was a great opportunity to see the venue and capture images that could be replicated on their wedding day too. It is not every couples first choice to have their pre-wedding photography session at their wedding venue but I think it was 100% the best decision for Danielle & Luke. The weather on their wedding day was manageable until we got to Theobalds House when the heavens opened and didn’t stop for the rest of the day, this meant that getting photos outside just wasn’t an option. We where able to take advantage of the beautiful interior of the house, using the lovely staircase and large windows to create some truly beautiful images but it is nice for Danielle and Luke to have captured some outdoor images at their venue even if it was before their wedding day.
There were some wonderful little details to Danielle and Luke’s wedding that I will always remember (and maybe note down for my own wedding one day) There was one detail I absolutely loved, a flag with a message written on it that was carried down the isle by their page boy, it read… ‘Last chance to run’ A great touch of humour!
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Hibberd x
