St Albans Portrait photographer
Zac’s 1st birthday family session
As a natural wedding and portrait photography I get to work in some beautiful locations but being able to call myself a St Albans portrait photographer is one of my favourites. I spent a lot of time in St Albans visiting grandparent when I was growing up and I absolutely love the historic town and its beautiful parks.
I have worked on many session in St Albans with some of them taking place in Verulamium park, my most recent family session was also in this wonderful location.
Shan got in touch looking to book a family photography session to celebrate Zac’s 1st birthday, a great way to mark the occasion. By booking a family session instead of the more popular cake smash session Shan & Craig were able to get some lovely family shots as part of their package, capturing important memories that they can look back on over the years as Zac gets older and hits other birthday milestones.
Shan & Craig had planned extremely well for their session, bringing with them two outfit changes that worked really well together, some of Zac’s birthday decoration and toys to make their session as personal as possible. We had to take advantage of the lovely little bridge and the waters edge in Verulamium park but I also wanted to get some variety into their photos too so we spent some of the session in the open space toward the back of the park and lost ourselves in one of the parks huge willow trees. Sometimes the most simple object or backdrop can have the biggest impact.
If you are looking for a St Albans portrait photographer then please get in touch. The historic town would be perfect for an urban twist on an engagement session and the beautiful parks are great for family and children sessions. It doesn’t matter what session type your are looking for, St Albans will certainly have the perfect spot for your session.
Happy birthday Zac!
