Fun Tythe Barn Wedding
Michelle & Matt’s Priston Mill Wedding
I was over the moon to hear from Michelle and be asked to capture her fun Tythe barn wedding! Having studied together at Univeristy it had been such a long time since I had spoken to her Michelle, I knew how creative she was and from the very start Michelle had such an amazing vision of her day.
The venue for Michelle & Matt’s big day was Priston Mill in Somerset and I was blown away when I went to see it. Priston Mill has is a water mill & stone barn venue surrounded on all sides by beautiful Somerset country side. The best bit about this incredible venue though was the wooden playground that was purpose built for weddings, I couldn’t contain my excitement when Michelle told me she wanted shots on the tire swing!
Michelle & Matt’s wedding was full of hand made pieces and personal touches. She had petals drying for the confetti, her mum was growing flowers for decoration and she was in the middle of creating her own beautiful bridal head piece.
The wedding day was just as wonderful as Michelle had made it sound and it really was a treat for guests too. Matthew and Michelle had a 4 piece choir break into song just as the guests were sat for the ceremony and they produced a beautiful mix of songs for Michelle’s entrance. They had great food, an ice cream man, hog roast and limbo competition to keep everyone going till the early hours. The whole wedding was great fun, Matthews and Michelle were up for anything. I took photos of them in the park, on the tire swing and in their wellies. We ventured into the river and across a field thick with mud all in the name of a great shot. I love it when a couple embrace the day and just get stuck in, it’s the only way to guarantee maximum level of fun!
You have to take a look at the images below to really see just how fun and beautiful it all was.
Congratulations Matthew and Michelle, thank you for allowing me to be a part of it.
