My favourite thing to photograph is laughter, you can’t fake it, when it’s uncontrollable and full of emotion there is nothing better. I LOVE getting couples to do little things together that make them laugh, simple tasks and phrases that are fun, maybe a bit silly, but create amazing natural moments for me to capture. Plus its a great way for couples to relax.
I have never been great at having my photo taken and always hated having to pose for photos – I don’t even take selfies, that’s how bad it is. That’s why I became a documentary wedding photographer, to focus on the real story and allow couples to enjoy their day uninterrupted.
Anticipating peoples reactions and capturing the unseen moments is one of my favourite things to do at a wedding. Precious moments like how the mother of the bride looks at her daughter when she is saying her vows or how the couple touch and hold hands when they spend a few quiet moments together as a newly married couple.
Best of all though is the laughter, I truly love capturing people having fun and enjoying each others company. Weddings are one of the most joyous occasions so there is always plenty of jokes, old stories and banter going on to create endless photo opportunities.
It is your day and documenting what that means to you and your guests is the most important thing.
I have had the pleasure of photographing couples in some beautiful wedding venues in Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire & London. Most flattering of all, I have worked on some amazing destination weddings – I love to travel so wherever your wedding may be, I would love to hear from you.

As if my job wasn’t awesome enough shooting weddings I also get to spend my time with lots of lovely families, having fun and creating memories.
There are so many important stages in our lives that should be documented and I love to capture these stages as naturally as possible. I want to show the individual personalities that make your family unique so it is important that my portrait sessions are relaxed and fun. Whether you prefer to chill out at home or spend time in the great outdoors we can create a session that will be personal to you.
I love a home session but being a Hertfordshire portrait photographer means there is also a huge selection ofbeautiful locations for portraits session too. I like to make each session as personal as possible so if there is a special place you like to take the family or just love a day out at the beach I would love to go there!
